Father won the CIFEJ Prize for the best film at the 8th Tehran Animation Film Festival 2013 (March 3-7). CIFEJ stands for International Centre of Films for Children and Young People. It is an international NGO dedicated to promoting excellence in the audio-visual media for young audiences.
The CIFEJ Jury at the Tehran Festival - Ebrahim Forouzesh from Iran, Dragan Milinković Fimon from Serbia, and Isabel Herguera from Spain - awarded the film for its universal message: The importance of parents to listen to their children’s deep emotions and needs.
